Sunset over Castello al Monte, San Severino

January 3, 2013

Sunset over Castello al Monte, San Severino Marche, Italy. For more great things from San Severino, check out ciauscolo, the champagne of sausages.

For some less great things from San Severino, check out the fact that it’s in the middle of nowhere, and virtually inaccessible by train or bus, and hours from the nearest airport. Not that I can say anything about terrible transport, being from Phoenix. It’s just shocking to find myself so isolated from the rest of the world here in Europe.

About the Author Daniel

How did I end up in Spain? Why am I still here almost 20 years later? Excellent questions. With no good answer... Anyway, at some point I became a blogger, bestselling author and contributor to Lonely Planet. So there's that. Drop me a line, I'm happy to hear from you.
